On the Catalina Express (boat) ... apparently Keith was nervous most of the day since he was aware of the big life milestone awaiting us that evening. I was none the wiser. About 30 minutes into the trip I was certain we weren't going to get engaged. Let's just be honest... once you get to the pre-engagement phase you are always keeping one eye open just in case that day is THE DAY. After I decided it wasn't the day my radar completely turned off.
This photo still makes me giggle. I wish I would have made him lay down alongside the odd little vehicle. I think he would have been longer.
Hanging out on the jetty away from the hussle and bussle of town.
Once we got back Keith went home and showered up. I worked and remained in my dingy clothes with my hair in a ponytail. One of us (that being me) was completely not expecting an engagement! (For the details on the engagement... check out Keith's blog).
Keith had brought all these candles and glasses so we could have a romantic dinner out on the patio.
Lara stopped by that night so we were able to get a picture of us post-engagement! Such an amazing man and such an amazing day. Our engagement was perfect. It truly represented us and Keith really thought through it and made it special for us. Our first date was making dinner at my house so it was awesome to get engaged in the same place. I am a very blessed lady!
Wedding updates to come...
